Did you think that the pasty was a Finnish staple? Nah, this food, though loved by our locals of all ethnicities, is a traditional Cornish food! Come to Calumet on Saturday June 24th 2017 for this fun event. Come hungry!
Music, Food, Vendors, a Classic Car show, history, and a whole lot of fun!
About the Event:
Pasty Fest is a one day event that takes place every year, the Saturday before the 4th of July. It is a celebration of the Cornish food staple, the pasty, which sustained Copper Country miners 100 years ago and satisfies hungry Yoopers today. Attendees can enjoy a parade, beer garden, street fair, live music and performances as well as children’s activities. We invite you to be the judge in our new Bake-Off Event where you have the chance to sample pasties from each pasty vendor in attendance!
