Reports are that trails are in great shape with a few soggy areas and downed trees here and there. A few more weeks and things will dry out a little more and the trail crews will have cleaned up debris. A later start than last year, but who’s counting? Copper Harbor group rides are already starting up this week and Trekkers have had scheduled rides for the last couple weeks.
Lots to look forward to in the next couple weeks including the Great Lakes MTB Summit on May 27th hosted by IMBA and the Ride the Keweeanaw on May 28th and 29th hosted by the Keweenaw Trails Alliance and Copper Harbor Trails Club. Find out more at www.keweenawtrails.com The weekend includes Women’s Trek demos at Swedetown Trails on Saturday from 3pm-6pm and a Women’s Clinic by Trek on Sunday at 10am in Copper Harbor.
Get your ride tuned up because we are only on the edge of another great riding season.
