July 25, 10:00 am – Butterfly Field Trip at Black Creek Nature Sanctuary – Join Conservation Biologist and expert Lepidopterist, Jim Bess, for an enjoyable hike and a lesson in the identification of butterflies.
August 2, 1:00 pm – Hike at Bare Bluff (Grinnell NS) and Spotted Knapweed Pull
August 8, 11:00 am – Spotted Knapweed Pull & Hike at Redwyn’s Dunes
August 15, 11:00 am – Spotted Knapweed Pull at Keweenaw Shores II NS and Hylton NS along with Exploration of new Conservation Easement at Dan’s Point
September 12, 1:00 pm – Mushroom Field Trip at Redwyn’s Dunes NS – Learn about mushrooms while enjoying a hike over the forested dunes with mycologist Dana Richter.
October 3, 11:00 am – Bryophyte Field Trip at Keweenaw Shores NSA – A foray into the fascinating micro-world of mosses and liverworts, led by Janice Glime, well-known researcher and retired professor.
