February 27, 1pm – Snowshoe Hike at River Bend Nature Sanctuary
Join stewards Gwen and Mike for a snowshoe hike to River Bend Nature Sanctuary. It will be an easy one-mile trek to the south border of the preserve to view an active (as of this writing) eagles nest from a distance. At this point the more adventurous snowshoers can continue to bushwhack into this trackless preserve. Dress for the weather and bring water, snacks, binoculars and snowshoes.
