Tour Complete on Saturday September 24th
– Event update – Success! After seeing a double rainbow in the cool rainy morning, the day gave way to sunshine and light breezes. All riders had the opportunity to tour the Quincy Smelter with information by the National Park Service and members of the Quincy Smelter Association. Wow! – What a neat way to feature the natural beauty of our home in the Copper Country, as well as its’ historical significance.
Enjoy the the Keweenaw’s fall color’s with us the best way we know how — by bike! The Copper Country Color Tour is an annual scenic ride hosted by Michigan Tech Cycling/C4. Enjoy riding along the pristine shores of Lake Superior and through colorful forests.
The event will be Saturday, September 24th. Registration and packet pick-up will be from 6:00-8:00pm Friday the 23rd and 7:00-7:50am Saturday the 24th. Both of these registration opportunities will take place inside the front entrance of the MUB building on campus.
