Ski Conditions are still outstanding, with 2.5 ft. of base or more on all of the local trails. All the trails are being groomed regularly, so get out and enjoy it! Also if you’ve never skated on the “keweenaw crust” you really should try it (when it gets here). Wait for a very thorough thaw during the day followed by a solid overnight freeze. Then check the predicted temps- to see if you need to get out there early in morning. It is great skiing with a good crust, however a crust that’s breaking under you is just plain rotten skiing! Go with the flow, if we’ve got snow – use it, biking will be along at some point!
